Exploring the world, one voice at a time.
As an avid reader, I am often curious about how writing process authors use and what inspired them to write. So I was very pleased to find answers to these questions and more when I had the opportunity to interview our own Marcus Speh, author of the newly released Gisela. I hope you enjoy Speh’s insight into the world of writing and please feel free to share it, contemplate it, and talk about it.
From fragments of history, Marcus Speh captures the mysterious spiritual journey of a woman who lived when only men’s lives were recorded: Gisela, a Bavarian princess married off to be the first queen of Hungary, then a prisoner, then an abbess and — some eight centuries later — a saint.
If you hadn’t quite gotten around to pre-ordering the sustainable edition of Gisela: Princess, Empress, Abbess, Saint by Marcus Speh yet, don’t worry! We’re extending pre-orders until 30 June 2017.
