Rose lives in Gowanus, Brooklyn, with her husband and daughters. Her piece "For You Mothers" was nominated for a Pushcart Prize in 2011, and her upcoming memoir, A Pencil on the Ceiling, tells how she survived law school while pregnant and then while caring for her infant daughter.
