To submit haiku, senryu, tanka, and haibun for our 1st Semi-Annual Equinox Series, please fill out the form at the bottom of this post. Autumn 2018 Selections will be made by JS Graustein, Editor in Chief and calligrapher of our haiku collections.
The prize?
Publication here plus:
- Solar Noon Selection – $20
- Sunrise Selection – $15
- Sunset Selection – $10
Details
- Entry is free via the form below.
- Limit is 3 poems per person, 1 poem per entry form. (You may need to refresh the page between entries.)
- Haiku, senryu, tanka, and haibun must be written in English and unpublished. (Posts on personal blogs or private critique sites do NOT count as published.)
- Entries must contain a reference to autumn, but need not specifically mention the equinox.
- A PayPal account is required to receive the prize money.
Deadline: 20 September 2018
Selections will be posted 22 24 September 2018 (all times Eastern US):
- 6:33 (Sunrise)
- 12:38 (Solar Noon)
- 18:43 (Sunset)
