FREIGHT Collective Winners

due out late 2011

You’ve cast your votes and now it’s time to announce the winners of our FREIGHT Collective Contest. Each author of the short listed works will receive a pre-release copy of Mel Bosworth’s forthcoming novel FREIGHT. Each of the winners will receive a signed copy. Everyone whose work was accepted into the collective will receive an e-book edition.

The winners are:

  • Poetry: “The Universe in My Mop Bucket” by William Krill
  • Prose: “Eighteen” by Dorothee Lang
  • Photography: “Recycling in Zhengzhou” by Elizabeth Switaj
  • Visual Art: “Shaken” by Ruth Schiffmann

The FREIGHT Collective is due to be released 1 April 2011 in time for National Poetry Month. It will be distributed free of charge to any and all. If you would like a copy as soon as it is available, please email editors [at] foldedword [dot] com with the subject line “freight” and let us know if you would prefer it delivered as pdf, mobi, or epub file format.

Thanks to all of you who voted. Thanks to William O’Daly, Barbara March, and Liana Gott for serving as a tie-break panel at the last minute. And most of all, thanks to everyone who submitted work to the contest. We couldn’t have had this much fun without you:-)
