Theme Thursday: Spring into Action
Ready for our second set of special themes for Form. Reborn and PicFic? Think of them like challenges from your baby brother–we’ll keep pestering until you give in;-) While our standard guidelines still apply, we are aggressively seeking:
- Heroic Verse for Form. Reborn that will initially run on Twitter in 1, 7, or 14-couplet segments. Iambic couplets required, but number of feet per line is flexible. (Deadline: 15 May 2009 to form.reborn@jsgraustein.com)
- Picos that mention a flower for PicFic, written in 1, 7, & 14 tweet lengths (see submission guidelines for explanation). Picture yourself doing your favorite activity, and off in the background is a ____. Do you see it? Great! Now tell us about it. (Deadline: 30 April 2009 to picfic@jsgraustein.com)
- Multilingual Submissions for both journals. Write any pico or poem in English to meet the character-count guidelines, then give us your interpretation in another language. The English will run on Twitter. Translations with the English will be posted on the author’s archive page. (Deadline: none–we LOVE multilingual submissions)
First one in gets special treatment;-) Ready, steady, GO!
